People Knowhow and THE TURNING POINT take another step forward . . .

The medical profession engages

In 2001, Dr Gwenyth Francis [M.B. B.S. Hons] completed her research and report on "An Assessment of a Personal Development Course as a Tool in the Management of Anxiety and Depression in a Clinical Setting". The "Personal Development Course" she was researching was our legendary "Turning Point". She had done the course herself and was introducing her patients to it with tremendous results. So, she began to do this research as part of her post graduate studies toward her Masters of Psychological Medicine. The research confirmed the efficacy of The Turning Point.

Since then, the legal precedent was established in 2006 for COMCARE and other relevant insurers to recognise the Turning Point as therapeutic treatment if they have been referred by medical practitioners or psychologists. COMCARE is responsible for workplace safety, rehabilitation and compensation in the Commonwealth jurisdiction.

Many, many doctors have done The Turning Point for their own private purposes and have gone on to recommend the course to patients, colleagues, family and friends. Read what some of them have to say and see other related documents in this list of PDF downloads ...
