Some Background on
The Turning Point
Here in Canberra and through a network of associated course centres
around Australia, more than 45,000 people have taken this great seminar
and endorsed its success as an extraordinary and positive influence in
their lives. The Turning Point has evolved over the many years and
remains a leader in the field. The Turning Point is a densely packed,
time-efficient, highly productive weekend that delivers real results.
Our Philosophy
PKC offers a
program of
courses and other integral learning opportunities designed to meet the needs of individuals from all walks
of life. People who do our courses do not simply learn techniques. They enter a period in
their lives of fundamental development and expansion in which they find their individual
life purpose and direction.
The Techniques we use
Our work has been described as "Western Zen" - contemplative
mind-body development blending traditional and modern approaches. We draw on modern
humanist and transpersonal psychological and psychotherapeutic practices including
Gestalt, Reichian and Jungian therapies, self-psychology, somatic
psychotherapy, creative visualisation,
processes guided by music, regressions and group dynamics.
We also draw on Eastern philosophy
through the practices of meditation, yoga and martial arts. The union of Eastern
contemplative and Western outcome-orientated philosophies give our clients a unique
perspective from which to better the quality of their lives.
The Services We Offer
We offer a wide range of public and corporate courses covering self
confidence and self esteem, stress and health management, relationship and communication
skills, life direction and spiritual development.
Personal Support Consultants and a wide referral
network of health practitioners and therapists also support our work.
